Sometimes you strike it lucky sometimes a new chef or menu stuffs up. Surprise yourself. Order a sandwich from the menu. The Asian waiter does not speak perfect English but he makes a perfect coffee, and you'rd be hard put to find a better sandwich (from the menu). Even came with salad for $7.50. This chef knows how to put food together, and his cooking is pretty good too. Ludo is a bit hard to find (it's an art gallery as well as cafe), but if you head for the huge Liqorland sign diagnonally opposite Coles supermarket it is just next door. The service is always excellent, the coffee perfect and if you like chilled out music then this is the place. The decor ...weeellll?

- Michelle Sfameni Added June 26, 2017★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Although the food and coffee are quite tasty, I won't be returning to this establishment after a very unpleasant interaction with the owner, who on more than one occasion has been both rude and condescending. A snobby attitude has made him forget the first rule in business - treat the customer with respect. When I tried to appeal to him with the notion that we share the same community he responded "this isn't my community...I don't live here." Yes, but you run a business in Sandringham and I won't be returning to Ludo's. My advice - spend your money elsewhere. There is plenty of good food & coffee around, like Lemoncello or Bay Rd Nursery.
